Michael Kiwanuka’s fifth album, FUDGE, arrived on October 23 through Polydor Records. Its 12 tracks include Summer Clothes, Love In My Heart, Stars and Sing, ending with Swings And Roundabouts. The record was made in Southampton and Frome, with Kiwanuka taking the central production role.

Much of the writing happened alongside the material for Small Changes, his 2024 album. These sessions developed into a separate record rather than an expanded edition of that release. Kiwanuka worked with multi-instrumentalist Joe Connell before bringing the initial recordings to producer Dom Monks and string collaborator Rosie Danvers for completion.

Stevie Gee created the artwork. The label’s September announcement states that all live commitments remain on hold indefinitely; the album’s arrival does not announce a return to touring. FUDGE can be accessed through Kiwanuka’s official release page and the matching album player.
