Julian Lennon releases Borrowed Time ahead of new EP 4

Julian Lennon released Borrowed Time and its official video on October 23. The same day, his website opened pre-saving for his new EP, 4, with the first single available ahead of the complete release. The EP is listed for November 20, 2026; the announcement does not mean that the whole project is already out.
Lennon wrote the song with John Idris Jones and produced it with Justin Clayton. Published credits also list Clayton on keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar, while Lennon contributes lead vocals and keyboards. Andreas Ahlenius mixed the recording at The Blue Room, and Björn Engelmann mastered it at Cutting Room Mastering.
Lennon devised the video's concept; Caitlyn Grabenstein, working as cult.class, handled its visuals and production. It appears on his official artist channel with YouTube's artificial-intelligence disclosure. That platform label identifies altered or generated material but does not, by itself, describe the entire video-making process.
