Eldar Jarakhov's new album "El": Honesty and Rethinking

On May 16, 2025, Eldar Jarakhov’s new album “El” was released. There are 14 tracks available digitally, including duets with artists such as Pizza, Feduk, Mona, Loc-Dog, Navai and Basta. Jarakhov called the album a “conversation with a loved one”, emphasizing his honesty and lack of pretense. The idea for the album came to him two years ago, was planned for his 30th birthday, although it came out later. Jarakhov said, "I'm proud of this thing!"

The album is a rethinking of musical trends. Dzharakhov avoided the blind pursuit of fashion, striving for his own sound, which, according to him, he found. The album combines punchlines, experimental flou and touching songs about family, balancing vulnerability and maturity with a focus on personal experiences. Particular emphasis is placed on the track “Ma”, which, according to Jarakhov, was a surprise.

The central point of the album is the track “Hearts Burning”, which began a turn in the sound and concept of the release. Created after his grandfather's death, this track changed both of them, making Jarakhov realize that music helps him live and be honest.

The duet with MONA "Call When You Want" is one of the most heartfelt tracks, starting with a voice message sent to the artist Eldar, and ending with her reply message. MONA believes that the track “was born perfectly organically” written and timed to coincide with the album.

Jarakhov worked on the album for more than two years, and none of the tracks from the original track list reached the final mastering. This process helped him to rethink not only music, but also himself, to feel grown up. Jarakhov believes that the album will help other people to understand themselves.
