5 Seconds of Summer release dance EP CLUBSOS Vol. 1

5 Seconds of Summer have released CLUBSOS Vol. 1, a digital EP reworking six songs from EVERYONE’S A STAR!. Universal Music Japan lists October 30, 2026 as its release date. The collection is a separate remix project rather than another numbered studio album by the band.

The sequence contains CLUBSOS versions of Evolve, Everyone’s a Star!, NOT OK, Telephone Busy, Boyband and I’m Scared I’ll Never Sleep Again. Those six recordings appear on the official Spotify edition. Evolve’s remix first arrived on August 14, so its inclusion does not represent a newly written song premiering with the EP.

Billboard Philippines dates the live introduction of CLUBSOS to August 1, at the band’s Lollapalooza aftershow at Chicago’s The Salt Shed. Rock Sound subsequently covered the NOT OK version and the forthcoming EP in October. The dance reinterpretations are now gathered into one release, retaining the titles of songs from the group’s sixth studio record.
