The Smashing Pumpkins announced on October 30 that Lull is available on streaming services for the first time. The reissue marks the EP’s 35th anniversary: the original arrived in November 1991, following the band’s debut album Gish. The digital release contains four recordings from that early period rather than a newly recorded studio album.

The track list comprises Rhinoceros, Blue, Slunk and Bye June. Rhinoceros also connects the EP to Gish, while the complete four-song sequence distinguishes Lull from the larger expanded editions of the debut. The anniversary release retains the EP’s own title and compact original programme.

A collectible vinyl edition has arrived alongside the streaming release. The official shop lists a 180-gram, 12-inch pressing at 45 rpm on clear vinyl with green and white splatter, released October 30, 2026. The band’s official link leads to the digital edition as well as purchase options. Those colour and weight specifications describe the physical record, not a different set of recordings.
