Gigi Perez releases Favor for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

Gigi Perez released Favor on October 30, 2026. Written for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, the song is now listed on her official website. It is an advance track rather than the complete companion album, which is scheduled for November 13 through MCA.

Universal Music Canada names Perez and Aidan Hobbs as its writers and producers. Perez connects the song with her experience of grief and a wish to reconnect with loved ones who have died. That explains her personal starting point without establishing which specific film scene will use the recording.

Dave Cobb serves as the album’s executive producer. Favor follows earlier previews including Noah Kahan’s Draw You Out and The Smashing Pumpkins’ Black Stars. The contribution extends Perez’s international profile after Sailor Song and her debut At The Beach, In Every Life. The embedded recording is Favor itself, not her earlier breakthrough single.
