Kurt Vile has performed 99 BPM on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The television programme’s own channel published the performance, which Pitchfork and Japanese music outlet amass reported on November 3. This is a new television rendition of an existing song, rather than the announcement of another studio single.

The song appears on Philadelphia’s Been Good to Me. Spotify’s official catalogue dates the album to May 29, 2026, and lists twelve tracks with a running time of around an hour. Its tracklist includes both 99 BPM and 99th Song: the similar names refer to separate recordings, and the former is the song performed on television.

Pitchfork places the appearance ahead of the next North American touring leg, whose Buffalo opening was scheduled for November 4. The accompanying official Tonight Show video runs for approximately four minutes and forty-four seconds. The archival concert photograph illustrates Vile at a different performance and is not presented as a photograph from the television studio.
