Cult of Luna release Sadness Will Reign with Gojira’s Joe Duplantier

Cult of Luna have released Sadness Will Reign, featuring guest vocals from Gojira singer and guitarist Joe Duplantier. The song arrived on November 4 alongside an official visualizer on the Swedish band’s channel. It is an advance single, with the complete album still listed for preorder rather than already released.

Their tenth studio album, In the Shadow of Your Shadow, is due November 6 through RED CRK Recordings. The official Bandcamp listing presents nine tracks and describes a running time of approximately 71 minutes. Daniel Berglund co-produced the record, while Magnus Lindberg mixed it. David Eugene Edwards is another guest, appearing on One More Day.

Earlier previews included the title track, A Way Back and The Rift. The Duplantier collaboration adds another part of the record just before release. The player below contains that exact official recording; the archival concert photograph depicts the band and is not a still from the new visualizer.
