Gnarls Barkley’s North American To Whom It Still Concerns tour is cancelled

The North American To Whom It Still Concerns Tour, advertised under the Gnarls Barkley name, has been cancelled. Pollstar and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the development October 30; Ticketmaster marks the relevant concerts as cancelled. The itinerary had been due to open November 5 at San Francisco’s Masonic and finish November 28 in Chicago.
Live Nation’s original announcement listed nine cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Toronto and New York. Before the cancellation, the promoter had already specified that Danger Mouse would not perform: CeeLo Green was to present the programme. It was therefore not a confirmed onstage reunion involving both members of the duo.
No public explanation for the cancellation has been established. Health, demand or the musicians’ relationship should not be presented as causes. Buyer notices provided for refunds to the original payment method; the applicable terms belong in each Ticketmaster order. Earlier posters and the original press release describe the previous plan, not confirmation that those November concerts will proceed.
