Olivia Rodrigo releases her first original holiday single take me home (4 christmas)

Olivia Rodrigo has released take me home (4 christmas) through Interscope Records. Her first original holiday song arrived with its official video at 5 p.m. Pacific on November 5, already November 6 in Moscow. Rodrigo wrote the recording with Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, with Nigro producing.

The video features Cynthia Nixon, known for Sex and the City, and Saturday Night Live’s Ben Marshall. Its story follows a woman hoping to spend the holidays at her partner’s family home. Seasonal preparations and shared family activities provide the setting, rather than a concert performance by the singer.

A seven-inch vinyl and cassette accompany the release. The label’s advance announcement lists November 6 as the vinyl’s in-store date; individual order conditions remain with the retailer. The track follows October’s expectations collaboration with Chappell Roan but is a separate original song. The official Christmas video appears below.
