James Blunt releases the twelve-song Airplane Mode

James Blunt released Airplane Mode on November 6, 2026. Warner Music Japan confirms twelve songs and describes the record as a return to acoustic pop. His official website connects the album with the Airplane Mode Tour in 2027, while its release page directs listeners to music services.
Advance tracks include Tastes Like Summer, Weight Of It All and Circles. The label also highlights Hey, People. Blunt worked with production duo Red Triangle on Tastes Like Summer; Jack Howard directed its official video, released in August as part of this album campaign.
For the launch, Blunt also filmed promotional videos at London Luton Airport. The airport reported its terminal staff’s involvement on November 5. The official album player and first single’s video are included below. The archival photograph was taken at Poland’s Life Festival in 2011.
