Alanis Morissette releases her first holiday album with two original songs

Alanis Morissette released Good Weather For Immaculate Conception on November 6, 2026. Her first full-length holiday album contains fourteen songs and runs for approximately fifty-one minutes. The release carries the Epiphany Music imprint, and her official website now links to the completed recording.

The programme combines established repertoire with two originals, To an Empath at Christmas Time and Christmas on the Dancefloor. O Holy Night, Ave Maria and Joni Mitchell’s River are among the interpretations. Morissette has released individual seasonal recordings since 2020; this project brings that strand of her work into an album format.

Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin appear on Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, Amythyst Kiah on Momma Mary, and Joy Oladokun on Silent Night. Martin Short joins the closing Merry Christmas, while Trans Voices contribute to O Tannenbaum. Those collaborations belong to specific tracks rather than the entire programme.
