Anastasia Makeeva: “Professionalism in art is primarily singing live”

Anastasia Makeeva sharply criticizes artists using phonograms, arguing that this is blatant unprofessionalism, regardless of their level of training. She stresses that she can always tell the difference between singing live and recording, and believes that people who think they are singers, without the appropriate education and skills, devalue the profession.

In particular, Makeeva gives an example of an incident during a performance where her partner, the actor, did not correct a twisted cable, which led to her injury and serious discomfort. This was the last straw, after which she refused to continue to cooperate, noting that creative work should have a brain and the ability to respond.

Evaluating the possibility of cooperation with Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman), she notes the difference in their creative approaches: he works in the field of television, and she – in the “underground” art. Makeeva admits that the likelihood of a duet with Shaman is very small, but given his popularity, she does not rule out such a possibility.
