Mogwai have created the soundtrack for the drama series about the terrorist attack Pan Am 103

Scottish band Mogwai have released the soundtrack to the British miniseries The Bombing of Pan Am 103, also known as Lockerbie. This project, which tells about the deadliest terrorist attack in the history of the UK, has already been released on the BBC, and the rights to show outside the UK have been acquired by streaming giant Netflix. The main roles of the series starred young actors - Connor Swindells ("Sexual Education"), Patrick J. Adams ("Force Majeure") and Merritt Weaver (winner of two Emmy Awards "Forgotten by God").

Mogwai, previously known for his involvement in creating the music for the documentary Zidane: Portrait of the 21st Century, have written many soundtracks during their careers, including for television projects such as For the Call of Grief, Zero Zero and Black Bird. In 2023, the band released their 11th studio album, The Bad Fire, and also released a documentary, If the Stars Had a Sound, about their 25-year history.
