"Musical Bridge": Russian music opens a new page on the air of Zimbabwean radio

The Classic 263 radio station in Harare, Zimbabwe, will receive an exclusive music cycle organized by the international network TV BRICS in partnership with the national broadcasting corporation Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation. The Night of Russian Music series will present a rich collection of folk and jazz works performed by the Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments and the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra.

The project aims to promote cultural exchange, strengthen international ties and foster creative diversity in Zimbabwean music. Acquaintance with Russian classics and jazz will allow local musicians to expand their horizons and create innovative works.

Within the framework of the project, the compositions of Alexander Varlamov, Nikolai Kapustin, Leonid Polovinkin, Alexander Tsfasman and other Soviet artists will be broadcast. The “Night of Russian Music” cycle will be released on Tuesdays from 21:30 to 22:00, and TV BRICS has already successfully implemented similar projects with Brazilian radio stations. This project is not just a popularization of Russian culture, but also a “real bridge” between cultures, demonstrating the eternal value of Russian music and contributing to mutual understanding and friendship of peoples.
