Finneas and Ashe unveil new Favors band with debut album

Finneas musician O’Connell (known as Finneas, brother and partner of Billy Eilish) is launching a new music project, the Favors. In the band, he teamed up with American singer and author Ashe (Ashlyn Ray Wilson), as well as drummer David Marinelli and guitarist Ricky Gurme. Their first single and music video, "The Little Mess You Made", premiered on June 6, and their debut album, "The Dream", will be released on September 19 via Darkroom Records. Musicians describe the album as a set of timeless songs that will be suitable for different moments - whether it's dancing in a bar in 1977 or a party at the Coachelle festival in the future. Finneas and Ashe have already worked together on the 2019 Ash mini-albums, and Finneas has produced and co-wrote many songs on her 2021 debut album Ashlyn. The musicians expressed joy and anticipation of the release of their music.
