Raye Responds to Amy Winehouse's Fame with New Collaboration

Raye, whose debut album "My 21st Century Blues" earned her six Brit Awards and three Grammy nominations, has unveiled her new song "Suzanne", her first post-summer recording and, crucially, her first collaboration with acclaimed producer Mark Ronson, whose name came to light through her collaboration with Amy Winehouse. Raye himself admitted that he initially had concerns when working with Ronson, stressing that he would never be able to replicate or copy the style of Winehouse, which they both highly appreciate and miss very much. After two years under scrutiny and comparisons with Winehouse, Raye has decided to fight back, and it seems that this is just the beginning. Soon, Raye and Ronson will be known for another collaboration – their song “Grandma Calls the Boy Bad News” will appear in the soundtrack for the Formula 1 blockbuster beagle with Brad Pitt.
