Kim Gordon: 'Trump is trying to undo culture' via new postscript

Kim Gordon, the former Sonic Youth vocalist, has released a new postscript for her single "BYE BYE," a powerful protest inspired by the Trump administration's list of "undesirable" words (including "mental health," "transgender," "injustice," and others). She sarcastically noted, “Trump seems to believe in a culture of repeal because he’s literally trying to undo the culture.” All proceeds from the track will go to the Noise for Now Foundation, which Gordon actively supports. She recently performed "BYE BYE" on the John Mulaney show, teaming up with Kim Deal for the live premiere of "Little Trouble Girl" (Sonic Youth, "Washing Machine") and attended the Cannes Film Festival, which premiered Kristen Stewart's film "The Chronology of Water," which also starred Imogen Poots and Tora Birch.
