Orpheus Television and Radio Center received a prestigious international award for high-quality sound restandard of Russian academic music

Orpheus Television and Radio Center was awarded the international prize “Clean Sound-2025” for outstanding audio recordings of works of Russian academic music. This year’s competition attracted more than 200 entries from Russia and foreign countries, and the shortlist included 52 recordings in eight categories, including Opera, Choral Works, Orchestra Music and Restoration of Archival Audio Records.

The victory in the nomination "Orchestral Music" was won by the recording "Orchestral Works of Alexei Zhivotov", presented by the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Orpheus under the direction of Sergey Kondrashev, within the framework of the project "Reviving the Heritage of Russian Composers" together with PJSC "Unipro". Thanks to this project, which has already celebrated its 10th anniversary, the works of Anton Arensky, Nikolai Golovanov, Alexander Mosolov, Georgy Katoire, Leonid Polovinkin, Vladimir Deshevov and Alexei Zhivotov are available to listeners for the first time. And in November 2025, it is planned to premiere a performance at the Moscow International House of Music dedicated to composer German Galynin, with the participation of the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra.
