Mötley Crüe release anniversary compilation and new version of Home Sweet Home featuring Dolly Parton

Mötley Crüe has announced the release of a new greatest hits compilation called From the Beginning, which will be released on September 12, 2025. It includes such iconic songs as “Shout Out the Devil”, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, “Dr”. Feelgood" and "Kickstart My Heart" as well as new songs including "Cancelled" (2024). The CD version of the compilation contains 19 tracks, and the two-plate vinyl edition includes 21 tracks, including "Afraid" from Generation Swine.

At the same time, the band presented a new version of their iconic song "Home Sweet Home" in honor of its 40th anniversary, the recording of which was attended by legendary country singer Dolly Parton, also starred in the video, which premiered on the same day.

"We couldn't be happier to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Home Sweet Home in such a special way and we're excited to share this version of the song with all Dolly and Mötley Crüe fans around the world," the band said in a statement.

Dolly Parton commented: It was an honor and a pleasure to work in the studio on the 40th anniversary reissue of Mötley Crüe’s Home Sweet Home. I was so glad they asked me to sing in such a classic.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of the new version of Home Sweet Home will go to Covenant House, a charity that supports young homeless people.
