“Moscow Virtuosi” will present “The Way to the Light” in BZK

On July 1, 2025, a unique concert of the State Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” with a new project – “Bach” will be held at BZK. Vivaldi. The way to the light”. The program includes selected works by two geniuses, sounding almost in complete darkness, which will allow listeners to fully immerse themselves in the music. A special format of performance is without a conductor, which is possible only thanks to the exceptional skills of virtuoso musicians.

The concert will be attended by talented soloists: violinist Alexei Lundin, cellist Vyacheslav Marinyuk, as well as laureates of international competitions Emil Miroslavsky (oboe), Mikhail Shtanko (oboe) and Alexander Nepomnyshchiy (cello).

The project reflects the deep bond between Bach and Vivaldi, despite the fact that they never met. Bach was a sincere fan of Vivaldi, whose virtuosity and innovation had a huge influence on his work, especially on the concert genre. Vivaldi is known for his friendly and emotional style, which continues to inspire musicians and listeners around the world. As Vladimir Spivakov, founder and artistic director of the orchestra, noted, “In every music there is Bach, in each of us there is God.”
