Vault Records, the acclaimed record club of Jack White of Third Man Records, is presenting a lavish reissue of The Jesus and Mary Chain's iconic debut album, "Psychocandy," which celebrates its 40th anniversary in November. This is the 65th release from Vault, and it promises to be one of the most outstanding.
The reissue will feature two LPs: a rich, colored version of "Psychocandy" on audiophile vinyl (45 RPM) and a 1987 black and white live album recorded in Detroit, featuring previously unpublished songs from "Psychocandy" and "Darklands." The bonus includes rare 7-inch recordings, including a live version of "Jesus Fuck" and an early demo of "Just Like Honey." Special attention is paid to the sound quality – Vault promises “the loudest version” of the album, while the distortion sounds clean. The release is available for pre-order until July 31 on the Vault website.
