Oasis is back: First concert after 16 years of waiting made a splash

After 16 years of separation, Oasis fans received a welcome gift - last night the band performed for the first time since their breakup in Cardiff. According to thousands of viewers covering the events in NME and The Guardian, the concert was a huge success. Starting with hits from "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" and "The Masterplan," Oasis gave generously to the spirit of the 90s, performing 6 songs from "Definitely Maybe," 8 from "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?", 5 from "The Masterplan," as well as one song from albums released before their scandalous breakup in 2009. During the performance, Liam and Noel Gallagher did not miss the opportunity to communicate with the audience about tickets purchased under dynamic pricing. At the end of the show, performing "Live Forever", the band paid tribute to the deceased football player Diogo Jota. The encore, consisting of "The Masterplan", "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova", featured a revamped formation, including new drummer Joey Warronker. The Oasis Live '25 Tour will continue in Cardiff and Manchester.
