Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini unveil FIFA's official anthem "Desire"

On July 11, 2025, the long-awaited release of the single and video from Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini – “Desire” took place. The song became FIFA’s first official anthem, marking a massive collaboration between football and music. The song, written by Williams alongside Carl Brazil, Owen Parker and Eric Ian Grob, first sounded on June 14 before the FIFA Club World Cup match in Miami, when Williams was also appointed FIFA Music Ambassador.

Desire's real debut is scheduled for July 13, when the artist will perform the song live before Chelsea's final match against Paris Saint-Germain at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
