Fure Festival: McFarland once again tried to get out of the curse

Former entrepreneur Billy McFarland, convicted of fraud around the failed Fyre festival, has finally tried to recoup some of the profits from this grandiose inflating. After four years of serving his sentence, he sold the intellectual property associated with Fyre Festival on eBay for $245,300. However, the buyer of the property remains unknown, and what he plans to do with it is also unknown.

Initially, the Fyre Festival, planned in the Bahamas and touted by star influencers, was not ready for the event. McFarland pleaded guilty to fraud and received 6 years in prison, plus a commitment to pay $26 million to investors. Despite this, he repeatedly tried to repeat his failure: in Mexico, he organized an event with recorded music and a limited number of guests, which was also canceled.
