Coldplay concert: Awkward moment at Jumbotron has become a viral sensation

The Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16, turned into a real Internet phenomenon. The band traditionally uses "Jumbotron Song", an impromptu song in which lead singer Chris Martin, using video from the camera, displays on the big screen the faces of the audience. This time in the frame were two middle-aged people, awkwardly hugging.

Martin jokingly noted their "embarrassment" and the crowd on the screen instantly closed their hands off the camera. It was later revealed that they were the CEO of technology company Astronomer, Andy Byron, and the head of human resources, Christine Cabot.

The video quickly spread to TikTok, sparking a storm of discussions and memes. It soon gained more than 30 million views, and social media was flooded with jokes such as "I would divorce my husband even if he just went to Coldplay."

The allegations and questions reached Andy Byron's LinkedIn and his wife's Facebook pages, both of which were closed. Astronomer did not comment.

The incident prompted reflection on the practice of using "kiss cams" at concerts by other artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, and the potential implications for audiences' personal lives. In the network appeared jokes about the need to create areas where shooting is prohibited.
