“Leningrad” goes to Kostroma: a new song about dreams of Russia

The new single of the group “Leningrad” called “To Kostroma”, released on July 22, 2025 by the labels “First Musical” and “ShnurOK”, invites listeners to take part in an unusual journey. In the song performed by Zoya (Xenia Rudenko), the lyrical heroine, tired of the luxury of Dubai and Bali, decides to find solitude and tranquility in Kostroma. “I’m going to get a man there who drinks mentally, just like me,” the singer admits.

Sergey Shnurov, as always, is the author of the song. In the final, he quotes the famous composition of the "Aquarium" "Kostroma Mon Amur". Cords speculate that many residents of major cities have visited Turkey, Egypt, the UAE, Thailand or Bali, but they most likely did not visit Kostroma.
