"Never Tear Us Apart": INXS classic topped Australian Heath Park

In the Australian hit park "The Hottest 100 of Australian Songs" - a special issue dedicated to Australian artists - 38 years ago, the song INXS "Never Tear Us Apart" from the main album "Kick" again entered the top. This release, initiated to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Triple J radio station, was also a way to support local music, given that just 29 songs on the list are of Australian origin. More than 2.5 million people voted, including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albaniz, who chose The Angels, The Go-Betweens, Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly and Cold Chisel. Cold Chisel, which celebrated its half-century anniversary, also entered the top twice - along with the hits "Hilltop Hoods", "The Veronicas", "Crowded House", "Powderfinger" and "Gotye". A significant number of songs (four by Bernard Fanning, three each by Crowded House, Midnight Oil, AC/DC and Gang of Youths) and other popular tracks such as Tame Impala's The Less I Know the Better, Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head and Natalie Imbruglia's Torn also ranked high on this list.
