IDLES create soundtrack for Darren Aronofsky film

Bristol post-punk band IDLES, which received recognition thanks to their album “Tangk” (which was nominated for “Grammy”), presented a new project – the soundtrack to the upcoming thriller Darren Aronofsky “Catched red-handed”. The composer was Rob Simonsen, who previously created the music for the Oscar-winning film “The Whale”, and IDLES became the “orchestra” for this project. In addition to Simonsen's music, the band recorded four new songs, one of which, "Rabbit Run", will be the lead single of the soundtrack. IDLES frontman Joe Talbot said that the acquaintance with Aronofsky happened by accident – behind the scenes of the TV show Jimmy Fallon, but the director became one of the influential figures for him. The IDLES soundtrack will be released on August 29 – the day of the American premiere of the film, starring Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoe Kravitz, Matt Smith and Bad Bunny.
