Oasis set record for beer consumption at London concerts

Oasis’s British tour led to an impressive result: fans of the band, to the surprise of all, became the most active beer consumers at concerts in London. The Wembley show in July sold an average of 250,000 pints of beer per evening, which is significantly higher than the 120,000 and 40,000 pints consumed at Coldplay and Taylor Swift concerts, respectively.

The catering company that provided the event faced unprecedented demand and even entered a "war for territory" using utility rooms to store 4,500 keg of beer delivered to the stadium daily. In addition to Oasis, Wembley hosted stars such as Dua Lipa, Jarvis Cocker and Tom Cruise. There are rumours that Oasis are planning to return to the UK next year, possibly as part of a big European tour.
