Nick Cave and Warren Ellis create the soundtrack for the adaptation of The Death of a Womanizer

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, known for their unique music, wrote the soundtrack to the mini-series based on Cave’s novel of the same name, The Death of a Womanizer. The story follows a suddenly widowed salesman and his son embarking on a dangerous journey. The main role is played by Matt Smith, who also participated in the production of the project. This is not Cave and Ellis’ first film work: they have previously created music for films such as The Proposal, How Cowardly Robert Ford Killed Jesse James, Blonde, and Back to Darkness. The soundtrack for the miniseries will be released soon, and on October 30, two episodes featuring Cave and Smith will be screened at the Royal Festival Hall in London, followed by a conversation. While Nick Cave is touring Europe, he is supported by Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood, and recently released a reissue of the entire musical heritage of Grinderman, led by Cave himself.
