Taylor Swift to Release 'The Life of a Showgirl'

Taylor Swift is preparing to unveil his new album, The Life of a Showgirl. The album, which includes 22 tracks produced by Max Martin and Shellback (the same band that worked on "Red", "1989" and "Reputation"), will be a logical development of her pop sound after a period of country work. The playlist is already available for pre-order on streaming platforms, and is expected to release in October.

Ahead of the release, Swift will share his thoughts on the album on the New Heights podcast alongside Travis Kelsey. The episode is scheduled to premiere on August 13, where Taylor will showcase the cover of the new album. This release marks an important milestone in Swift’s career – the first since the completion of the massive “The Eras Tour” and the return of control of her early album recordings. The last studio release, The Tortured Poets Department, was released in April 2024.
