Green Day and "New Years Rev" premiere with Kirk, Armisen and Fisher

Green Day teamed up with their friend Lee Kirk to create the comedy film New Years Rev. The film tells about the garage rock trio The Analog Days, which is unexpectedly offered to act as a warm-up for Green Day (this is a prank!). The film is scheduled to premiere on September 12 at the Toronto Film Festival.

With the Green Day producers performing in Brazil tonight, TIFF viewers will only be able to see director Lee Kirk and the cast of New Years Rev, including The Office star Jenna Fisher, comedian Fred Armisen and McKenna Grace. According to the synopsis of the festival, the film features more than a dozen songs by the band Green Day.
