Neosole legend Michael Archer (D'Angelo) has passed away.

Michael Eugene Archer, known to the world as D’Angelo, died on October 14, having had a huge influence on the development of R&B and neosoul. He was 51 years old. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer, with which the musician fought for many years. The news was confirmed by loved ones. Despite only three albums ("Brown Sugar", "Voodoo" and "Black Messiah"), D'Angelo made a real revolution in the genre, having a huge influence on artists such as Erica Badu and Lauryn Hill. He was often referred to as the “new Marvin Gay,” and unfortunately his legacy was cut short too soon.
