Boris Burdaev files lawsuit against his brother over rights to Brothers Grim

The ex-vocalist of the group “Brothers Grim” Boris Burdaev intends to sue his twin brother Konstantin Burdaev. He claims that his personal story has been silenced by removing his name from songs he wrote and performed. Boris Burdaev stressed that in his youth he thoughtlessly shared rights with his brother, despite his indirect attitude to creativity. As a result, First Music excluded him from the project, continuing to release albums called The Brothers Grim without his consent. The singer believes that it is nonsense in show business, when the author, composer and performer have no legal control over their work. Despite attempts to settle the situation in recent years by offering to add his name to the venues, his proposal was rejected, and now Boris Burdaev intends to seek his rights in court.
