Cruz Beckham makes a high-profile musical breakthrough: new singles and collaboration with Kooks

20-year-old Cruz Beckham finally began his musical career, releasing two singles on October 24, 2025 – “Optics” and “Lick The Toad”. The clip on "Optics" captured the fun of Cruz and his three friends in the countryside. The song was co-authored by Luke Pritchard of the Kooks, with whom Cruz developed a strong friendship and mutual respect for music, especially the early Bee Gees. The singles were produced by Justin Reisen (with whom Charlie XCX, Joji and Yeah Yeah Yeahs collaborated) and Lewis Pesakov. Cruise recently demonstrated his talent at a small concert at London's George Tavern Club, performing in front of about a hundred audiences with Optics, Like The Toad, Caroline and For Your Love, and in 2024 it became known that he signed a contract with a music label. At the age of 11, Cruz recorded his first single, “If Every Day Was Christmas.”
