Working group on consolidation of creative unions discussed key areas of cooperation with the Ministry of Culture

On October 27, 2025, the first meeting of the working group created to consolidate creative unions was held at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. At the meeting, issues of granting subsidies, celebrating Artist’s Day, cooperation with the art cluster “Tavrida” were discussed, and new initiatives of the Ministry of Culture were presented.

The group included nine creative unions, including the Union of Cinematographers, the Union of Writers, etc. During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture Sergey Pershin presented the catalogue “Major Topics of Russia” and announced the creation of the National Award for Cultural Managers, as well as the Alexander Tvardovsky Medal.

Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation with creative unions, including participation in the Festival of Young Art “Tavrida.ART” and the implementation of joint programs, for example, within the framework of the art cluster “Tavrida” and the Academy of Creative Industries “Meganom”. Plans for celebrating the Artist’s Day, a draft of methodological recommendations developed jointly with the Ministry of Culture, and participation in the #SVOYO project were discussed. The participants of the meeting noted the importance of joining efforts to strengthen the cultural community of Russia.
