"Stoptime" musicians leave Russia after lengthy administrative arrest

18-year-old singer Naoko (real name Diana Loginova) and her husband, Alexander Orlov, the second member of the group “Stoptime”, left Russia. Along with them, the third participant, drummer Vladislav Leontiev, who had previously served two administrative arrests, was released. All three were detained on October 15 after a street band performed songs by foreign agents Noise MC and Monetochka, causing close attention of law enforcement agencies. The court ruled three times on administrative arrest immediately after the previous deadlines, the last of which ended on November 11. Lawyers and human rights activists feared that such “carousel” detention could lead to criminal prosecution of musicians. The police apparently took steps to prevent interviews with the musicians at the exit of the IVS in the Vasileostrovsky district, transporting them to another location. Naoko and her family were released at short intervals.
