Williams is suddenly back: Britpop is out ahead of schedule!

Robbie Williams, who had previously caused fan disappointment over the postponement of his 13th album Britpop, took an unexpected turn – releasing it on Friday night, three weeks ahead of schedule. Streaming services received 11 new tracks, including the song with Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) “Rocket” and the song with Gary Barlow (Take That) “Morrissey”. An additional 6 tracks will be released on February 6 as part of an expanded edition of Britpop, Williams’ first album in a decade. Having originally planned to release the album in October, he changed his mind over Taylor Swift's upcoming new album, fearing another clash for first place in the UK charts. Williams now shares that record with The Beatles, and it looks like he could soon be the sole leader. However, the question remains: does Robbie know about the possible surprises in the music world and will there be another high-profile performer, such as Raye or Lana Del Rey, in the near future?
