Flea and Guests: A Memorable Show at KOKO

The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea, and the aspiring trumpeter showcased the sound of one of the best albums of 2026, as part of a tour he has led in recent weeks. The tour kicked off at the beginning of the month in North America (the author of these lines attended a concert in Montreal – it was unforgettable), and will conclude on May 29 in Paris. A special event was the performance at the London club KOKO, where Flea played not only famous jazz musicians under the guidance of Jeff Parker, but also guest stars. On the instrumental "Frailed," Flea collaborated with Warren Ellis, co-founder of Dirty Three and right-hand man of Nick Cave, whose violin is also featured in the studio version of the song. Additional surprises were prepared by Thom Yorke, frontman of Radiohead and former member of the supergroup Atoms for Peace: he performed twice - at the beginning of the show he performed "Traffic Light", and at the end - together with Flea he sang "Got to Give It Up" by Marvin Gaye, which Atoms for Peace performed 13 years ago at a concert in Mexico.
