Foo Fighters play "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam"

Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer, has long diligently avoided discussing his past activities. However, after a series of problems and a failed crisis management strategy, he seems to have taken a more laid-back approach - and at the Foos concert, he unexpectedly sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." This song, which became a cult song thanks to Nirvana and their album "MTV Unplugged in New York", was previously performed by the Scottish band The Vaselines. It was the first performance of this song by the Foo Fighters, who performed at the BottleRock Napa Valley Festival, sharing the venue with such stars as Lorde, Lil Wayne, Ludacris and the Backstreet Boys. The Vaselines, reunited in the late 2000s, released two studio albums and even played the song in a lineup that included Chris Novoselic, former Nirvana bassist.
