Barcelona's Primavera Sound faces disaster: cancellations, chaos and uncomfortable communication

The first day of the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona turned into one of the most problematic in its history. Torrential rain and strong winds led to the cancellation of several concerts, including performances by Massive Attack, Doja Cat and Bad Gyal, due to “unfavorable weather and technical conditions”. The problems were compounded by ineffective communications from the organizers, who ignored official channels of information, forcing viewers to follow updates through social networks, in particular Twitter Doja Cat. The Massive Attack concert, which was supposed to be a key event with new rooms and guests, was rescheduled several times before being cancelled permanently. Musician Oklou, who performed at the festival, also criticized the organizers for the "chaotic" situation, noting that half of her team returned to the bus hungry and wet.
