Johnny Marr: Not going out of sight, new projects and upcoming solo release

Four years have passed since the release of his latest studio album, Fever Dreams Pts 1-4, but Johnny Marr, the former guitarist for The Smiths, has remained at the center of musical life. He has released a bestselling compilation and live album, Look Out Live!, and has also appeared on recordings by bands such as Noel Gallagher, Franz Ferdinand and Gorillaz. His fifth solo album, "The Age of Everything", led by the single "Spin", will be released soon. Marr shared, "It was a very cathartic experience; the album title came right away and became an obsession for me, reflecting the feelings of many people." The songs were recorded in London, refined during a tour of America and recorded in Manchester. In the summer of 2024, Johnny Marr will host the largest solo show of his career – a concert is scheduled at the Wembley Arena in London, and a new album will be released in October (2 October) and an even larger performance will follow (24th).
