"Voices of the Heirs": All-Russian Festival of Soviet Song at the Green Theatre of VDNKh

From August 1 to 4, 2026, the first All-Russian music festival “Voices of Heirs” will be held at the Green Theatre of VDNKh, with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. The festival consists of four concerts dedicated to music, which has had a huge impact on the culture of the country and united generations through a common language of songs.

The opening of August 1 (VDNKh’s birthday) will mark the program “Songs of the war years” with the participation of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army named after A.V. Alexandrov, performing the classics of the genre - "Smuglyanka", "Korobeynikov" and other famous compositions.

On August 2, the audience is waiting for the evening of the Soviet stage performed by the Academic Grand Concert Orchestra named after Yu.V. Silantyeva, as well as stars such as Sergey Volchkov, Anna Buturlina and Sofia Onopchenko. The host of the evening will be Tatiana Sudets, the legendary announcer of Central Television, familiar to many generations from famous programs.

On August 3, the festival will feature Soviet jazz under the leadership of Peter Vostokov – the Grand Jazz Orchestra will perform works by Alexander Tsfasman and other masters of the genre.

The final concert on August 4, “Bridge of Generations”, will offer a modern sound of your favorite songs: the Chamber Orchestra “Imperialis Orchestra” will present a symphonic reading of “Beautiful Far” and other hits, as well as a young vocalist Milana Ponomarenko. All concerts (except jazz) will display the words of the songs on the screen, creating an atmosphere of joint singing. The purpose of the festival is to unite people through a common memory and love of Soviet music.
