Madonna and Netflix: Mini-series about the life of the pop diva will become a reality

After numerous delays and writer changes, pop icon Madonna will finally get the chance to tell her story. In partnership with director Sean Levy (Deadpool and Wolverine, The Main Hero) and streaming giant Netflix, a mini-series about the life of the singer will be shot. It was originally planned that screenwriter Diablo Cowdy would work on the project, but the idea was shelved. Now in the role of Madonna consider Julia Garner, known for the TV series “Ozark” and “Inventing Anna”, with which Netflix has a long-standing and successful (three Emmy Awards) professional relationship.
