Sergey Penkin: Movement, charisma and eternal music

On the show “Murzilki Live” on “Avtoradio” Sergey Penkin presented fans with a live concert, performing his most famous hits, from soulful ballads to rhythmic songs. The artist not only shared his thoughts on music and funny occasions (including an unexpected compliment from a fan), but also revealed his unusual philosophy.

Penkin, known for his extravagance, explained why he needed movement despite his high blood pressure (155-160). He believes that without activity it is difficult for him, and avoids inaction. The artist emphasizes that true art is not the pursuit of fame, but the transmission of pure energy of talent, like classical artists such as Mark Bernes and Claudia Shulzhenko.

In the framework of the meeting with students of the Institute of Fine Arts of Moscow State University, Penkin transfers not only vocal technique, but also his philosophy, borrowing it from the experience of the legendary Alla Pugacheva. A special place in his work is occupied by a duet with Mariam Merabova, their powerful composition “People” he considers “a ready-made soundtrack for cinema”. Penkin stresses the importance of charisma beyond vocal gift, and believes that real music remains in the memory forever.
