“Song battle” between Del Rey and Kane: Instagram war and the threat of diss tracks

Lana Del Rey, after marrying a Louisiana ship captain, postponed the release of the country album The Right Person Will Stay. However, it seems she is preparing to share a new song aimed at another alt-pop star, Ethel Kane. A fragment of the track, produced by Jack Antonoff and beginning with the phrase "Ethel Cain hated my Instagram post", has already appeared on Del Rey's Instagram. In response, Ethel Kane blocked Del Rey on Instagram. Del Rey tried to clarify the situation, citing Kane's comments about her appearance, accompanied by humiliating comparisons with animated characters and testimonies from friends. The posts Del Rey speaks of have not yet been published, but Ethel Kane recently apologised for some of the controversial posts. If Kane responds to the song Del Rey (which, by the way, Nicki Minaj is delighted with), then we are waiting for a tense musical "battle", no less ambitious than the confrontation between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
