Cameron Crowe still planning biopic on Joni Mitchell with Meryl Streep and Ana Taylor-Joy

A biopic about the legendary Canadian singer and poet Joni Mitchell, who was whispered about last summer, is still in development at the famous screenwriter and director Cameron Crowe. As performers of the main roles, two stars are considered: the most experienced Meryl Streep, who showed interest in the project several years ago, and the talented Anya Taylor-Joy, who will bring to life the image of Mitchell in her heyday - the 60s and 70s. Crow began his career as a rock journalist, interviewing Mitchell for Rolling Stone in 1979. The success of Crowe, who won an Oscar for the script of the autobiographical drama “Almost Famous” and directed such famous films as “Say Something” and “Vanilla Sky”, does not fade. His last notable work was the canceled series "Tourists", returning us to the world of fatal chronicles. Anya Taylor-Joy, known to the audience for her roles in “The Queen’s Walk” and “Furios”, is one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood.
