The second season of “The Classic” starts with a unique interview with Maria Zakharova and fresh interpretations of the classics.

The second season of the educational and entertainment show “By Classics”, created by Elena Kiper together with the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, will start on August 28, 2025 on the platform of VK Video. The first issue, an exclusive interview with the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry and poet Maria Zakharova, will be held by Vlad Malenko.

In this issue, Maria Vladimirovna will share her personal story, revealing the interweaving of diplomacy and poetry. She will talk about her passion for poetry, thanks to which she received the profession of diplomat, about the influence of key figures such as Vlad Malenko, Maxim Fadeev, Valeria, Irina Ponarovskaya, Lyubov Uspenskaya, about how her poems turned into songs. Maria Zakharova will also express her opinion on progress, viewing it as a process that can be both positive and negative.

The second season of the show consists of four thematic blocks: "Poetry" (led by Vlad Malenko), "Dance" (with Ilza Liepa), "Fashion" (with Igor Chapurin) and "Painting". Within the first season, 24 premieres, new formats and meetings with famous guests are planned. The first six series dedicated to poetry will start in early September, and in them viewers will be waiting for a stand-up from Vlad Malenko, interactive dialogues with Stas Piekha, Denis Maidanov and other stars, as well as musical interpretations of poems by Russian poets to the accompaniment of the symphonic group “Gulfstream”.
