“Taipan” announces a tour of Russia, promising to “poison” the minds of listeners

The multi-platinum group Taipan, known for the hit "The Moon Knows No Way", is preparing for its first tour in Russia. The song, which became the hallmark of the group, was a huge success, occupying the first line in all the music charts of the country and receiving prestigious awards. The video for the song has racked up more than 82 million views on YouTube.

The band's founder, Roman Sergeev, describes the musical influence of Taipan as "poisonous" consciousness in a positive way, comparing the band to a venomous snake capable of infecting listeners. As part of the tour, the band will perform their most popular songs, including "The Moon Knows No Way", "Grubiyan" and others.

Comments on the tour were quite eccentric: journalist Otar Kushanashvili said that the music of "Taipan" brought him back to an era when the main thing was the melodic sound, and the group, in his opinion, is a group of "heavenly" who are able to awaken feelings of love and be loved. The tour, which started on September 6, 2025 in Yaroslavl and ended on December 14 in Tver, will cover the cities of the middle belt of Russia, the Volga region, the Urals and Siberia.
